Prototype: 1 German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) class 218 diesel hydraulic loomotive in a royal blue paint scheme. 3 different Raiload and Special Cars Company, Inc. (ESG) "blue cars", stationed in Augsburg.

Model: Locomotive comes with the new 5-pole mini-club motor. Headlights with maintenance-free LEDs. Locomotive and cars in a special version. Not available separately.

The 81421 train set is being produced in a one-time series only in 2001.
